The second day of the YFF Conference was jam packed with events all day. We first started off by having breakfast with Evans at Le Caprice, where we got to sit and chat about fashion, inspiration and the plus size industry. From there, we headed over to the Trump Soho to get a sneak peek at the upcoming Autumn/Winter collection as well as the new Beth Ditto line! I am so ridiculously excited for their new collection, I already have a mental list of everything I’m buying. Most know that I’m an fiend of jackets/vests/coats, I wear some sort of outerwear piece with every outfit even in the summer. This fall, Evans really brought the heat in regards to that. Unfortunately I can’t spill any details about the new Beth collection but you won’t be disappointed!

After leaving Evans, we headed over to Monif C’s showroom in the Garment District. It was really cool to hear about how she got her start in the plus industry and get her perspective on designing for plus women. We all also chatted about how we got our start in the blogging world and how our common bond is, of course, Gabi and YFF. I think most of the conversation was recorded by Gabi which will be uploaded soon!

After leaving there, we headed back to the hotel and changed in preparation for the meet and greet at Re/Dress! I really had no clue as to what to wear and it was a tiny bit stressful, I won’t lie. In the end, I decided to throw on a silk kaftan that I’ve blogged about before and my Jeffrey Campbell Clinic wedges. Simple with a little bit of drama. I had a total blast talking with everyone who came out to Re/Dress! I was a little apprehensive at first but after seeing some familiar faces, it was like chatting with old friends! Unfortunately, I didn’t take as many pictures as I would’ve liked but I was too busy having fun! Also a big, big thank you to Deb, Taueret and the rest of the shop grrls for everything!
