One of my favorite things about the Fall 2010 Marc Jacobs show (besides the fact that the show itself was so freaking beautiful) was his play on proportions. Hems were longer, heels were shorter and silhouettes were chunkier. There were two looks in particular that I wanted to re-create and today was the perfect day to try one out. I got this sweater from Evans last winter but because of the large holes/shredded-like sections its actually perfect for this transitional weather we’re having right now. I wore it over my high-waist flare skirt from Jibri and kitten heels that I scored from Re/Dress while in New York.

I also tried out having glossy black lips for the day. I usually only pair my YSL gloss pur with my Kat von D lipstick but today I decided to go for the drama of black lips. By the time I took photos, it wasn’t as dramatic as it was originally but I still love the bold look. I’ll definitely be wearing this color on its own more often!
