136 / EDITORIAL: CRYSTAL RENN IN AUSTRALIAN HARPER’S BAZAAR
Since I’ve gotten behind on posting editorials, I decided to post three of my favorite ones back-to-back-to-back. I got all of the images from Every Body is Beautiful, an amazing archive of fashion imagery featuring models sized 10 and over. If you haven’t checked that blog out, you must!
The editorial below features blog favorite Crystal Renn in Australian Harper’s Bazaar, one of my all-time favorite. Crystal is styled in high-end designer clothes that showcase her curves, there is even an image that shows a bit of a bulge! Crystal looks absolutely amazing in these photos. Love it!

135 / EDITORIAL: CRYSTAL RENN IN ELLE ITALIA (SOME NSFW)
This editorial is from the December 2008 Elle Italia magazine that features Crystal Renn in couture. I love when Crystal does high-fashion shoots because her sultry look is a perfect fit.

134 / EDITORIAL: JOHANNA DRAY IN GALA MAGAZINE
This editorial features Johanna Dray and appeared in Gala magazine in Paris. I love the vintage feel of the shoot, back when the fleshier women were objects of art pieces. Just amazing.

123 / GLAMOUR’S SUPERMODELS WHO AREN’T SUPERTHIN

If you’ve noticed, I’ve totally stayed away from the Glamour magazine discussion. That’s not to say that I don’t have an opinion on it but I really only wanted to post the photos of the seven amazing plus-size models that were featured. Pictured in the magazine are Crystal Renn, Kate Dillon, Ashley Graham, Amy Lemons, Anasa Sims, Jenny Runk and Lizzie Miller.

What do you guys think? Do you think that Glamour will actually come through on their promise to include more body diversity in their magazine? Do you think this is just for publicity? Let me know in the comments!

098 / EDITORIAL: CRYSTAL RENN VOGUE GERMANY MAY 2006

One of my favorite Crystal Renn editorials ever. Picture #4 is so hot, I can’t take it!
ps. If you haven’t picked up a copy of her book Hungry, be sure to! I’m almost finished my copy!
090 / I-D’S SEPTEMBER THRILLER

If you follow me on Twitter, then you’ve no doubt read about my fight with a sudden onslaught of sickness. So if you’ve purchased anything from the store, it will be in the mail this week! Apologies for not updating yesterday, my body was yearning for sleep!
To get back into swing of things, I present i-D magazine’s September editorial “thriller.” We all know that the September issue of fashion magazines are big deals. Mags often put celebrities on the cover that they know will sell (ie. Jennifer Aniston on US Elle, Charlize Theron on US Vogue, Ashley Olsen on US Marie Claire) and it has long been said that ethnic models don’t sell magazines. Clearly i-D it setting out to prove the industry wrong by featuring not one but FOUR ethnic models. Shot by photographer Emma Summerton, Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez and Arlenis Sosa all bring something different to the shoot. I love the fact that it shows that not all ethnic models are the same and shouldn’t be categorized into having a certain ‘look.’
Below, there is a clip showcasing the behind-the-scenes action of the photo shoot. Have a look and let me know what you think!

076 / EDITORIAL: LADY GAGA OUT MAGAZINE (NSFW)
Carrying on with my Lady Gaga love, she covers the latest issue of OUT magazine. This editorial is so fierce, I can’t even take it! Its so creepy but at the same time ridiculously hot. These days there are so few celeb editorials that seem to actually ‘get’ the person/persona and execute it spot on. Usually its the celeb attempting to ‘smile with their eyes’ while posing in the latest threads photographed (most likely in black and white) against a studio backdrop or outside somewhere, which is fine but can be monotonous after a while. So when I spotted these over at The Cut, I was floored. See for yourself below.
