Its time again! March’s fatshion recap is so ridiculously amazing. There were submissions from almost 30 people and its over 100 pages long! Thank you so much to each and every person who submits for the recaps, its always fun seeing the regulars as well as new faces every month!

Its that time again! Since I’ve been running behind for the last few weeks, I’ve been late in getting the word out about February’s fatshion recap. Not only was I late in putting it together, but in the middle of assembling the post I decided to switch up the format to make it a bit more interesting. After spending a few hours playing with a new direction, I decided it would be cool to make it into a little mini-mag. So thank you to everyone who replied to my late night emails and sent over their information at the last minute! There were a couple people that I had to leave out because I didn’t get in contact with them so I apologize for that. Please feel free to submit for March’s recap!

Thank you to everyone who agreed to participate in this post! This is, by far, my favorite post!I had this idea back in December, in the midst of the 82186342 ‘Best of 2009’ lists to have a list of my own. I wanted a chance to showcase all the amazing fatshion that has been floating around the internet this year and hopefully inspire others the way I have been. Honestly, I was nervous that no one would participate and it would just be a post of my outfits, and whatever I could force out of my fellow blogging buddies! So I’m happy to say that there were almost 40 participants and almost 200 outfits submitted! Obviously this post will take a bit to load but its so worth it! Below each participant there is a link to their blog or Flickr so be sure to check them out!

Hey everyone! As the year is coming to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who came to the blog, sent me an email, left a comment, or talked to me on twitter and/or facebook. I know that posting has dropped off a great deal in the last month but thank you all for hanging in there with me. I’ve been going through some things in my ~real life so that is where my focus has been. So if you have sent me an email, you’ll definitely get a reply sometime this week. Also, I have a couple of things planned for January so I hope to start off the new year running!
Since it will be a new year, I will be re-launching this here blog of mine with a new design, inspired by the amazingly designed French Vogue! It will be launching in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled for that! I love the new header which features an image from Beth Ditto’s editorial in POP magazine that I posted a while ago.
I absolutely love that image and thought it’d be a great representation of the blog in the new year!
I will also be re-launching the Shop Fatshionista selling blog! I’m in the midst of photographing a bunch of things to put up for sale. Now that I’ll have more free time, I’ll be able to update it regularly. Also, I’m debating opening the shop up to others who may have things they want to sell. So let me know if you think its a good idea or if you would be interested in selling things there. You can leave a comment here or just send me an email. If there’s enough interest, I’ll definitely do that.
Ok, back to the fatshion!
In order to send off 2009 the right way, I want to do a Fatshion Recap post! It would great if everyone could send me photos of you in your favorite outfit(s) from this year. I don’t care what your style is, the more, the merrier! However many you want to send is totally fine with me! I also know that a lot of people have special NYE outfits planned so the deadline is a week from today, Monday, January 4, 2010. It would be great to have a diverse selection so I’m hoping a lot of people participate! You can send your outfit photos to christina@musingsofafatshionista.com
